How to Enter EDL 9008 Mode

Method 1 – Using Test Point

1. Power off the device completely.
2. Open the back cover carefully.
3. Disconnect the battery connector.
4. Locate the Test Point shown in the image above.
5. Use tweezers to short both Test Point pads.
6. Connect the USB cable to the PC while keeping the pads shorted.
7. Release the tweezers after a few seconds.
8. Check Device Manager.

If successful, the device will appear as:
